Hair in the U.S.: Trends, Common Phrases, How to Braid Workshop

Tuesday, February 6th
12:00pm-1:00pm
Dr. White Room, Cross-Cultural Center

What are the trendy hairstyles right now? How do I do my hair for a fun outing? What about appropriate hairstyles for professional interview? If you are interested in learning about hair trends in the U.S. style tips for a variety of occassions, terminology used to describe hair in English, and how to braid hair, this workshop is for you! This workshop will empower you with the ability to express yourself through hairstyles, and allow an opportunity to bond over one question we all ask ourselves every day: “What do I do with my hair?!”
All genders are welcomed as we will be going over all kinds of hairstyles in the first half of the workshop. The second half of the workshop will focus on braiding hair and how to braid.
