Advising International Students

The International Center (IC) is responsible for immigration advising of international students and for UCI compliance of SEVIS regulations and reporting requirements.  Some academic actions taken by students must be reported in SEVIS and could affect immigration status.  The IC encourages academic departments to work in partnership with the IC keep student in status so that they can pursue their studies and maintain legal immigration status.
